International specialized exhibition "BELAGRO-2024"
From June 4 to June 9, 2024, the 34th international specialized exhibition “Belagro-2024” was held on the territory of the exhibition center of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park “Great Stone”.
As part of the exhibition, Belplemzhivoobedinenie took an active part and organized the “Livestock Husbandry” exposition, where the best representatives of the breeds of dairy and meat cattle, horses, pigs, goats, rabbits and poultry were presented. Most of the visitors and guests of the exhibition were in this part of the exhibition. The event was attended by delegations from 11 countries, including Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Germany, Mongolia, China and others.
Of great interest to the visitors of the exhibition were the events on the breeding of daughters of stud bulls, stud rams, breeding goats and breeding dairy goats with assessment of the exterior and tasting of dairy products, as well as the breeding of horse breeds.
The highlight of the exhibition was the competition “Best Pedigree Dairy Cow”. Worthy representatives were presented in four categories. The first places went to the following participants: for the first lactation, the cow Beresteyka from the Open Joint Stock Company "Agro-Sad Rassvet" of the Brest district of the Brest region, for the second lactation Aleksia from the Communal Agricultural Unitary Enterprise "Brilevo" Gomel district of the Gomel region, for the third lactation Chamomile, owned by the Communal Agricultural Unitary Enterprise "Sovkhoz-Kombinat "Zarya" of the Mozyr district of the Gomel region, for the fourth or more lactation Power from the Agricultural Production Cooperative "Agrokombinat "Snov" of the Nesvizh district of the Minsk region. The main prize in the category “Best Pedigree Dairy Cow” went to Beresteyka from the Open Joint Stock Company “Agro-Sad Rassvet”, Brest district, Brest region.
Training seminars were held with specialists from breeding and genetic centers and livestock breeders of breeding farms. Much attention was paid to the development of business contacts in the field of selection and breeding work and export of breeding products.
For active participation in the preparation and holding of the Belagro-2024 exhibition, Belplemzhivoobedinenie was awarded a Diploma of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
