REPUBLICAN COMPETITION "BEST PEDIGREE DAIRY COW"

As part of the international exhibition "Belagro - 2022", the competition "Best Pedigree Dairy Cow" was traditionally held. The best 24 breeding dairy cows from six regions of the republic competed at the competition, and the winners were chosen in four nominations. Among the cows in the first lactation, the best was the representative of OJSC "Ostromechevo" of the Brest region, a cow named Forget-me-not. OAO Gastellovskoye brought the best cow Chanel for the second lactation to the exhibition. The production cooperative "Agrokombinat "Snov" of the Nesvizh district took the main prize for the best breeding cow in the third lactation, which was an animal named Sirena. Finally, among the cows for the fourth or more lactation, the first place was taken by a cow named Belorusochka from the Ozery farm in the Grodno region. She also got the main prize - the Grand Prix.
Agricultural organizations that presented cows received cash prizes and gift certificates for the purchase of animal feed.
